Synopsis: A neighbourhood on València’s beachside retains the essence of a village and fights for preserving its patrimony as well as its traditions, but it it still open to progress. "Cabanyal viu" was made to claim the history that can be felt in every modernist-styled house of La Reina street or La Barraca street; the friendliness of the vendors at markets or the simplicity of merchants at the fair of Cabanyal at fridays. You can hear from the melody of the Poblats Marítims’ music bands to the rhythm of the procession of the Setmana Santa Marinera or the valencian language on the terrace of El Canyamelar bar, La Peseta or El Clavo.
